Release of a new eLiteMap version for mobile devices
We are happy to announce that the new eLiteMap version for mobile devices has been released. Download the updated eLiteMap app to evaluate its new features and improvements.
The new eLiteMap version is now available for download in the app stores and on our website. In this version, we have improved the key app features, made its interface more user-friendly and informative, as well as added a few fixes and improvements related to overall stability and performance.
Creating points with a single tap
If you need to urgently make a note on the map without being distracted from your route, just tap the quick action button “Save a point”, and a new point will be added to your map. The point name is filled in automatically and contains the object’s creation date and time. Any comments, explanatory notes, photos, etc. can be added later, if needed.
Automatic saving tracks
To prevent the loss of valuable information, we have set up the app to automatically save tracks after you stop recording. But you can always switch to manual saving tracks option in the app settings when needed.
Location information as a link
Share information about your current location or coordinates of any other location on the map with your colleagues or friends by sending them a link via email or messenger. When they click on such link, the information about coordinates is automatically displayed in the app. If the recipients don’t have the app on their devices, they will be prompted to install it.
Location information as a file
The coordinates of the selected location on the map can be presented as a separate file in GeoPackage, KMZ, GPX, SHP format. You can easily share it with your colleagues or friends. When you open such file, a layer with a point is automatically added to the map.
